Laura (Brown) Duncan is the daughter of Pastor/Missionaries to Canada - where she lived for 8 years on the Island of Digby - in Nova Scotia, before attending Oregon Bible College in Illinois; (now known as Atlanta Bible College). She married Joe in 1977, with whom she helped pastor 2 churches and who is now one of the Elders here Generations Church.
Laura began teaching in Children's Ministry when she was 12 years old and has worked with children in some capacity for most of her life, either in Churches or Public Schools. The Duncan's moved to Granbury in 1989 and were one of the founding families of Generations Church in '91. Laura has been the Children's Pastor here since '94.
With a heart for International Missions, Laura Duncan not only influences our children for the nations but also our whole congregation as she is also our MIssions Coordinator and helps to organize Short Term Mission Trips and Support Projects, as well our Annual International Night and most recently, Monthly Outreaches to International Students at UTA.
She and Joe have three grown children: Jennifer, who is married to Mark Marroquin and lives in Tulsa, OK;
Andy, who is Generations Church Youth and Worship Pastor; and Ryan, who works at a recording studio in Nashville, TN.
