LAURIE ZIEGER
Church Secretary
Laurie is a Southern California girl, born and raised. Then known as Laurie Johnston, she was a 4-H member for 10 years; raising and showing horses, pigs, dogs and sheep, but her favorite was always goats. After graduating from high school, Laurie lived and worked on a farm in Switzerland with a 4-H Exchange Student Program to Europe. Later Laurie graduated from Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, CA and was Church Secretary at Calvary Chapel of San Clemente for 5 years.
In the 80's, she met Gary Zieger - a dashing young man with a great smile and green eyes on the beach in San Clemente - to whom she has been married for 23+ years now. She loves being active, biking, hiking, walking and working out as well as making quilts, doing crochet and reading.
The Zieger's enjoy their 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Family and friends are their greatest delights in life.
When asked to describe herself in three words Laurie says, "Active, energetic and structured suits me best."
